Welfareville Fire - Disaster Response Project

January - March 2017: Updates on Disaster Response Project
Fire incident in Welfareville, Mandaluyong City.

Relief Program:
1. On January we have given out grocery packages to 100 families.
2. We have distributed Mana Pack meals, care of International Care Ministries, and we still have few boxes, we are using it to provide meals for the volunteers helping in the Bayanihan (Community service) helping in the construction of houses in the community. Fire victims helping other fire 
victims rebuilding their house.
3. Few boxes of clothes, medicine and other stuff from Taiwan, Singapore and Australia have arrived and have distributed to people.

Rehabilitation Program:  
1. After the application process, interviews and meeting with the people. We have chosen 60 families from the community who will receive construction aid to start building their homes. We have chosen those who are BL beneficiaries and believers, more than half, and the rest are those who are non-believers who are most in need in the community. We allotted P40,000 per family. While P100,000 per family of our 3 BL workers.
