Paolo Figeruoa

Name:
Paolo Figuroa
Ministry: Church Multiplication Movement Coordinator
Location: Calapan, Mindoro Community

I am Juan Paolo Figueroa, a servant of the Most High God and a lover of Him, Lord Jesus Christ. The verse above is my life verse and it has been taught to me by the Holy Spirit in the hard days of my life. It was the time when my dad lost his job and we had experienced poverty. I was already a Christian then but I am not really serious in my faith until those days of hardship that I had experienced God more deeply and more intimately, even though I have already accepted Him in my life when I was eight years old. My grandpa which was a pastor taught me how I can I be save and introduced me to the Lord Jesus.

I can say that it is only through His Mighty Grace that I am here and I will be continually serving Him, even if He calls me to the waters, to the depths of His will (surrendering even my profession of nursing) that it is still through Him I stand and will be able to serve Him fully in the Ministry of God in BL / Dawn for the Poor. It had been 19 years of upside down as a Christian but one thing I have realized, He was, is and forever will be faithful to His promises, that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

“That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10

Eventually my dad regained his job again, and I was able to enter in college, all praises unto our Lord. When I was in college I took up nursing for the purpose of sharing the Word in the hospitals. But during my second year my dad lost his job again and though it seems the future is bleak in that moment, through faith and prayer, BL and someone from the body of Christ helped me in my studies until I graduated and had passed the board exams.

All the praises and glory be unto Him my Savior and my God, Jesus Christ!!! Amen and Amen!!!
