 Fred Dungganon
Ministry: Executive Director

Frederick Dungganon lives with his wife, Mimi in Welfareville. Most of his family is not yet Christian. He came to Jesus during a BL Youth camp and eventually became BL Youth Coordinator. Now he serves as the Strategy facilitator for Dawn for the Poor and attending Asia Theological Seminary part time. He says, “My ministry is important to BL because we want to reach the whole family for the Lord. I believe that God gave me this ministry because He is already working in Welfareville and he wants all believers there to work with him. I am serving in BL because I know that God is using this ministry to facilitate a speedy evangelization of urban poor communities.”

Fred's Directors Report

Paul used 3 Greek prepositions to accurately communicate his message on God. First (ἐξ) “out of” or “from.” “For from Him... All
things” is the God who is the source of all things. (δι’) “through.” “Through Him... All things” is the God who is the guide or agent or the way. (εἰς) “unto” or “to” “for [to] Him are all things” is the God who is the ultimate destination of all things. This is a wonderful news to the poor, that Our God is the source of all our needs, the agent who gives them and the goal of all things. We have a rich
God, who gives and guides us how to use his richness for His glory alone. Glory to our creator, mediator and owner of all things. Antipolo (Cogeo) – Challenges, newly stablished other churches in the community, not to compete but participate in the evangelization of Antipolo. Pray for some leaders who have poor commitment in the team. The young pro is growing in number but some left the faith too, pray that they will come back in....Continue to read Fred's latest prayer letter.

• Growing relationship with the Lord, to remain in faith in spite of challenges in life and family. • Some struggles attending fellowship because of work and family responsibilities. Pray that they have learned from that mistake and will prioritize their service for the Lord. • The joy of the Lord will continue among the leaders as they serve the church and share the good news to the community: praying for them, visiting the sick, inviting people to the fellowship and testifying God’s faithfullness in their lives....Continue to read Fred's latest prayer letter.

Blessed by this passage and by our speaker on Sunday. Message: Good fruit and good tree became reminders to me of what I should become everyday, a choice to obey everyday, following Jesus. We are tree and should bear fruit that lasts and brings life to others, it is only possible if our roots are growing deeper everyday in His word and allowing the Holy Spirit to move in our lives. Preacher: Angelica Acdal is a 15 year old teenager, who have grown in faith for only two years. Her soft, sweet and teachable heart makes it easy for her to obey the word and love the Lord. Her character was mold well by her parents who are not even believers yet, they were disciplined and have trained to focus on their studies, music, and academic competitions. She finished this school year as top 1 in class and 3rd in all her school level...Continue to read Fred's latest prayer letter.

Knowing Christ is also knowing His very heart, His Passion, His Commandment and His will. Many Christians nowadays they want to become like Jesus, but not the Jesus who suffered, who had lived in poverty and was killed in a very shameful way. They only want Jesus’ popularity, glory and provision. Becoming like Jesus is more than these. Paul understand this very well, True Knowledge of Christ would only lead us to becoming like Him, sharing in His suffering and dying in our own self. Blessings and the rest are only His provision to accomplish His will through us... read more

We thought of Dreams, Profession, Wealth, Opportunities, Expertise, Money, and the list will go on and on, that are evil and should not be pursued. That is wrong, because what is not to be pursued is the love for them. Love for them will only produce frustration, greediness, pride, dissatisfaction, distraction and superficial happiness. We can use them to glorify the Lord by being a good steward of what He Has entrusted to us... read more

In 2001, Jordan Project, a community development project funded by Canada ended that gave birth to Bukang Liwayway, an organization helping the poor that depends 100% to God through prayers. From doing normal church planting and worship services, through Jonathan Training, we are encouraged and challenged to go on the track of a movement – Wholistic Church Multiplication Movement. BL now have 45 house churches and 74 Bible study groups growing into house churches.

The poor in BL Communities were blessed by God with passion and availability to evangelize their families and communities and let us all continue to pray that this movement will continue so that they can bless more. As the disciples draw near and follow Jesus, May our BL Leaders draw closer to Jesus and continue to follow Him...

Each day is an opportunity to experience Jesus’ cleansing and most of all freeing power from the bondage of sin and condemnation – we just need to go down at the feet of Jesus, acknowledging our weaknesses and sinfulness that we may receive His transformative power of forgiveness and enjoy life to its fullest until forever.
